Mini Cooper S is a car in World of Speed.

Summary[ | ]

The Mini Cooper is a vehicle with quite a history going all the way back to 1961! In fact, the original design of the Mini started in April 1959 with the Mark I Mini but it wasn't until 1961 when they teamed up with John Cooper to create the Cooper.

John Cooper, owner of the Cooper Car Company and designer and builder of Formula One and rally cars, originally wanted to build the Mini Cooper as a performance car capable of competing in a number of racing disciplines. He saw this goal achieved when the Mini Cooper S won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965 and 1967!

If you're a fan of the Mini Cooper then you'd probably know that it became exceptionally famous thanks to the 1969 movie, the Italian Job, and its ridiculously over-the-top car chase scene that is arguably one of the best car chases in cinema history!

But times have changed since 1969 and so has the Mini Cooper S. Putting the complete modern redesign of the body style aside, the Cooper S now runs on a 4-Cylinder 16 Valve Twin Scroll Turbo engine with an output of 189 HP and 207 ft/lb of torque. That may not sound like much but given the size of the Mini you'll be able to hit speeds of well over 125MPH. That and the brilliant handling of the car will allow players to be competitive at any location in World of Speed!
